DAN’S PRIME  

Super Bowl Championship Texas Chili Recipe

  1. Sear 1 lb. ground beef  
    ½ lb. ground pork
    ½ pound diced beef (about the size of  finger nail)

  2. Drain fat.  To the meat, in your pot, add one 34 OZ. jar of  DAN’S PRIME QUICK DRAW CHILI FIXIN’S  seasoning, about 2 cups of water or beer (to thickness preferred), one 8 oz . can of tomato sauce, ¼  cup of each of the following: diced celery, sweet onion, green bell pepper, red bell pepper and a couple of diced tomatillos. 

  3. Bring Chili to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer.  Simmer for 1 hour or until meat is tender, stirring occasionally.

O P T I O N S

  1. If you like beans, about 30 minutes before it is ready, add a can of drained pinto beans.

  2. If you want your Chili hotter, add some chopped jalapenos about half way thru the cooking.  

  3. If you prefer your Chili thicker and a corn masa flavor,  mix about a tablespoon of masa flour with enough water for a pourable mixture and blend into pot about half way thru cooking.
